Almonds received by TAC are graded and sized with state of the art electronics that utilize the latest in infrared and laser sorting technologies. TAC also utilizes traditional hand sorting, as well, ensuring that we continue to deliver the high quality and attention to detail that we are known for. After sizing and grading, the almonds are typically packed in 50 lb cartons or metric ton fiber bins. Shipments of the almonds is done year round as the almonds leave Chowchilla for all corners of the world, to places as varied as the Middle East, Africa, India, China, South America, and Germany.

Adam Salwasser, our plant manager along with Michael Berra, bring 30 years of experience in manufacturing management, which gives us confidence our operations are run efficiently and that we exceed the highest standards in food safety and quality. Marketing is performed by Russell Harris, David Bazar and Mike Fenn. David Bazar, our Vice President of sales, along with Mike Fenn, Assistant Manager of sales, use a variety of domestic and international brokers, import and export houses and direct business.

Our Grower Relations team, led by Wes Romero, consists of Jerry Magdaleno and Blake Cuadros who bring a combined 35 years of experience in agriculture to work with them everyday. While strategies change from year to year or sometimes minute to minute, the overall focus at TAC remains maximizing returns to the farm. The fact that TAC grew out of and remains a tightly bound farming family helps maintain that focus. Outside growers are given the option to choose from a seasonal or call pool to market their almonds. Historical returns have been among the best in the industry and are available upon request.
